………..”the artists daughter”. This is my attempt to reproduce part of the painting by Cornelis de Vos, (seen at Chatsworth House), as part of a larger painting featuring all my “favourite” bits of Chatsworth………its going to be a big painting ! (and may never be finished ………….)

Thanks for giving us a window into little Magdalena. You have captured her beautiful face and her eyes and the lacework on her dress are so entrancing……it is so inspiring and it makes us want to visit Chatsworth again.
