….. the building attracted me, white brickwork, signs galore, curved corner facade ….. but didn’t emerge as I envisaged (still, they rarely do) and has been languishing unfinished till now. Even with the Pub Landlord and the Basset Hound, I’m not sure …..

….. its here !….. up in the Golf Club House ….. just a stones throw away, yet I’ve never ventured in ….. What did I find ? a very warm welcome, refreshments, food, comfy sofas and fantastic views across the course (even in the snow !) …..- idyllic setting :-) …… and you don’t have to be  a member – its open to everyone …… 

….. p. s. huge Function Room available, Free & Spacious Car Park, outdoor seating (for warmer weather, if we ever get any) …..

…..eye,eye…..

….. here’s a recent sketch whilst waiting for someone at the Eye Hospital. A more obscure subject than usual, but making myself draw things as they arise, whether I “like” them or not, is a good discipline I think…..(adverse conditions too - busy hospital, standing room only and a new sketchbook with very “challenging” paper…) …..

…..speaking of discipline (you will gather, I have none), my very wise Agent has grounded me from attempting to go to the Farmers Market today – we are snowed (and iced) in and it was total madness on my part, so at the last minute I have finally seen the sensible option…..(and I’m still not happy about it :-( as I SO wanted to be there !)…..as my buddy, L, would say “Waaaaaaaah !!!!”…..
