… two of my favourite places feature in this watercolour … Caffe Nero and The Sheffield Cats Shelter Shop … Caffe Nero has been a sanctuary for me over the last few years, providing a welcome oasis to think, have some space, do some painting & sketching, and make new friends and acquaintances …. I also love it because it is dog-friendly (for well-behaved hounds) … and of course, have my favourite Latte or Mocha ! …

… The Sheffield Cats Shelter has been helping Cats & Kittens since 1897 ! and their shop raises much-needed funds …

Thankyou to the bidders and everyone who supported this event … including Caffe Nero, Ecclesall Road, Sheffield (who are dog-friendly), and hosted the handover to the Winning Bidder – Demi Brae, retired greyhound ….. seen here 🙂

I began “Abbeydale Streetscape” back in September. I’ve been thinking of tackling this stretch for a while, but it was quite daunting, especially as the buildings at each end are pretty huge. I’m happy with the result, and the original watercolour can be seen on sunday 11th December at Nether Edge Farmers Market. Limited edition prints will also be available.
